Jenn began her career in conservation biology with a focus on studying geospatial patterns of large predators in the foothills of Colorado. Her time in the field sparked a fascination with how data can be interpreted, represented, and visualized. Jenn's diverse experience spans across numerous industries to include ecology, GIS, and non-profit work, with data analysis being the common thread tying her experiences together. She's thrilled to be a part of inquirED's mission, which values the significance of questioning and inquiry as a means of fostering creativity and exploration to unveil new insights and discoveries. She joined the inquirED team in 2023.

Elizabeth worked in education for over a decade, including experience with inquiry-based teaching, a master's in early childhood education, and supporting the adoption and implementation of high-quality instructional materials. After transitioning careers to graphic design, she worked with a range of clients and agencies, creating custom illustrations, designing websites, and building brands. In no particular order, she likes: ice cream, being near rivers and lakes, Zelda, family time, running, saunas, and genre fiction. She joined the inquirED team in the summer of 2023.

Janelle comes to inquirED after 12 years of working in schools as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and school administrator. Earning her M.Ed. in Education Policy and Management at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Janelle studied school reform and project-based learning approaches. This experience, and an equity lens, shaped Janelle’s work in schools: building students’ leadership, communication, critical reading, and collaboration skills. Janelle joined inquirED’s team in July 2021.

Before joining inquirED in the spring of 2021, Tyler worked in web development for two years. He is passionate about bringing accessible and intuitive experiences to the screen. Using his education from Flatiron School and CSU Global, Tyler works to contribute to the advancement of the inquirED platform. He is dedicated to inquirED’s mission and believes in the power of inquiry-based learning.

Anne joined inquirED in the fall of 2019 with 30 years of experience in education as a teacher, principal, staff developer, and consultant in teacher preparation. Her belief in the impact of inquiry-based learning comes from her years in the classroom and her leadership of an International Baccalaureate World School. Anne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Carleton College and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University of Chicago as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from DePaul University.

Prior to joining inquirED in September 2024, Gianna spent 11 years as an ELA teacher using inquiry-based practices in her own classroom. She is extremely passionate about supporting teachers and students in cultivating a love of hands-on, rigorous, and engaging curriculum. She spent one year as an Account Executive for Albert.io, believing a consultative sales approach is essential for supporting schools and districts with new curriculum tools. She holds a BA in Secondary Education and English Literature from Arizona State University.

Denise has more than 20 years of experience in public and charter schools, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing schools today. She is passionate about empowering educators to create inclusive and equitable learning environments while fostering a culture of collaboration and inquiry. Denise transitioned into the EdTech environment to leverage her belief that data analysis, paired with effective strategies and impactful technology solutions, can transform the educational landscape. Denise joined inquirED in June of 2024.

Bryan brings 15+ years of editing and publishing experience to inquirED, having worked on magazines, textbooks, and a number of other types of print and digital materials. He values helping others through his work and looks forward to using his attention to detail and other editing skills to help teachers and students in their journeys. Bryan joined inquirED in January 2022.

Muriel has nearly 15 years of experience in bilingual and dual language education and special education, and has been an educator and leader of multilingual programs in Chicago. She has partnered with district leaders to enhance bilingual and dual language programs through evaluation and professional learning on biliteracy; second-language acquisition; and culturally responsive, equitable Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Driven by a commitment to equity and access, she joined inquirED in 2025.
